Since AICTE and Govt. of India have recognised 'B' level as equivalent to MCA wide gazette of India No. 11-11-2000,DOEACC's 'B' Level qualifiers are eligible for prestigious Govt.jobs like Software Engineers, Systems Analysts, R&D Scientists, EDP Managers etc.

Why Revision

The second revised version of DOEACC 'B' Level syllabus came into in January 2000 examinations. The fast-paced advancement in Information Technology made it imperative to modify the syllabus to accommodate the changing needs of the IT Industry. This has forced the DOEACCSociety to change the syllabus again within 3 year.

This document presents the third revised version of DOEACC syllabus which becomes effective for teaching from July 2003.The 'B'Level syllabus is designed to facilitate student in the devolepment of concepts based approach for problem solving using IT as a tool.The self learning approach is built into the syllabus,thereby training the candidate to update themselves on the changing technologies in there area of work. Salient features of the revised version are:

 
  1. Introduction of Practical Examinations for the first time.
  2. Introduction of Credit Scheme to facilitate other universities and academic organizations in India and abroad for determining the academic and professional equivalence.
  3. Inclusions of free domain software in the curricula.
The 'B' level syllabus has been designed to produce:-

  3. Training Faculty
  4. R & D Scientists
  5. EDP Manager who are equipped with latest knowledge and skills.
